Captain [your name], I'm thankful for the assistance you've provided me, but I'm afraid I have no more work for you. Although, I believe Father Ulises Marcos has been looking for you. You should probably go see if he needs a captain of your skills.

Talk to Ulises Marcos

Head to the Church to find out more information about It's Not Easy Being Green.
Talk to Ulises Marcos for more information about It's Not Easy Being Green.

Accept the mission, and head to the Church. Enter the Church and look for Father Ulises Marcos . Speak to him, and he'll tell you about the mission:

Ulises Marcos: "Captain [your name], I hope you will have the humility to help me prevent a disaster—a disaster which you had a hand in bringing about. You are familiar, I believe, with our local dukes? The cousins Schneider and Wopat? Do not bother to deny it, I know you have worked for them both, helping each take the other's ship."
You: "Well. . . ah, well yes, I did do that."
Ulises Marcos: "Perhaps you thought you were being clever, earning a fair bit of pay from each and causing no real harm. . . after all, each of them ended up with the ship he wanted, correct?
I am afraid you caused more harm than you know. Lord Peligro and Lord Gevaar have always been envious of each other, but since Madame Feliciana Quyere arrived in town, they seem to have lost all reason, resorting to violence through proxies like you.
I suspect Madame Quyere is behind this. . . the dukes have been spending far too much time with her, albeit separately. She must have her own reasons for pitting them against one another, but she knows I am suspicious and her fortune buys her power in Trinidad. If you were to meet with her in my stead, perhaps you could learn why she is doing this.
I've marked the location of her residence on your charts—it is a remote compound, so I recommend you simply sail around the promontory and anchor near there. Please do not delay, she must not become suspicious—Madame Quyere is a recent arrival, but already she believes I am working against her. She must not suspect the same of you if we are to avoid civil war between the dukes."

That's your cue to leave. To begin the mission, simply talk to the Coxswain and click It's Not Easy Being Green.

Battle Madame Quyere's Allies

Fight off the allies of Madame Quyere.

Once your character arrives at Madame Quyere's residence (near Trinidad) you will be attacked by Madame Quyere's allies. Without friends, you must defend yourself against two waves of opponents.

Collect Your Rewards

Once you've completed the mission return to the Church and speak with Ulises Marcos to collect your rewards.

Ulises Marcos: "Captain! What happened to you? There were reports of fighting aboard a ship—"
You: "That would have been me. I think Madame Quyere knows who I am now. . . it's probably too late for the subtle approach, Father Marcos."
Ulises Marcos: "I agree. In fact, the woman's motivations and methods are now of secondary importance. The dukes, you see, have agreed to a duel. They must be stopped!"

You will be rewarded with a Gold 1580 doubloons and at least Experience 680 points.
