We have fixed the problem with our transfer system that was preventing people from logging into Pirates of the Burning Sea last night. As a result, character transfers are now re-enabled.

AvCom Revamp: NPC Archetypes

The avatar combat revision gave ConCo a really good opportunity to give a bit of a makeover to what NPCs could do. In the previous version of avatar combat, much of the strategy came from reducing your enemies’ balance to the point where you could damage their health. With that aspect gone, we wanted to figure out a way to keep avatar combat tactcially interesting to players. What we ended up doing was grouping NPCs into different “archetypes”, each with their own unique moveset.

Build 1.10: The Calm Before the Storm Goes Live Tuesday Morning!

We will be upgrading our North American, European & Australian SOE live servers to build 1.10: The Calm Before the Storm during the usual maintenance window (1:30am-5:00am Pacific / 9.30am-1.00pm GMT) on Tuesday, November 25th.

When build 1.10 is deployed to our live servers, character copies to the Testbed server will be active.
